We considered our usual 28 days in Corfu, but with employment status, we felt it was a bit pricey for us at the moment. The luggage situation is a challenge. We have gotten rid of many things over the last two years. But when you travel full time, that means any conveniences you want in your daily life that are not in every AirBnB must either travel with you, or you have to purchase in every city, and we don't have that type of money. And we don't chase the warm weather, nor do we ever plan to do that, so being able to handle below-freezing temperatures is part of our baseline.
We have discussed reducing from either two large pieces of luggage to one, or reducing each of our large pieces to a carry-on size, so end up with four carry-ons and two backpacks. Slightly more manageable. Unless we establish a home base somewhere in Europe, it is hard to imagine going much below that for all of our gear, clothes, and conveniences.
